Kalpa is a strategic development leader, entrepreneur and former broadcaster with over 25 years’ cross-sector experience spanning the UK and Sri Lanka. He brings a rare combination of grassroots insight and policy-level influence, having delivered national campaigns, built inclusive programmes, and led organisations through complex transformation. His work focuses on equity, mental health, youth justice and community resilience, underpinned by a deep commitment to systems change.

Kalpa has held leadership roles in the charity, media and political sectors, including serving as an unpaid strategist to two presidential campaigns. A respected voice in multicultural marketing, trauma-informed practice and interfaith collaboration, he has helped shape public engagement strategies across health, education and civic life.
