When: Friday 6th March - drop in between 12.30-2.30pm.

What to expect: Volunteers can have a go at planting a few young trees together, guided by our team. All equipment will be provided. There'll also be biscuits!

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

What you'll need: Please wear suitable clothing for staying warm, and possible wet weather. We strongly advise wearing sturdy, waterproof shoes such as walking boots or wellies. We also suggest bringing a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

Why are we planting trees? Trees have many benefits for people and wildlife: They provide homes, food and shelter for invertebrates, birds and mammals; remove carbon dioxide and pollutants from the air, giving us cleaner air to breathe; help alleviate flooding; and improve our health and wellbeing, e.g. by reducing stress and anxiety; and so much more besides!
