Why are we planting trees? Trees have many benefits for people and wildlife: They provide homes, food and shelter for invertebrates, birds and mammals; remove carbon dioxide and pollutants from the air, giving us cleaner air to breathe; help alleviate flooding; and improve our health and wellbeing, e.g. by reducing stress and anxiety; and so much more besides!
