The Work that Reconnects

The Work that Reconnects

How can we respond to our feelings about world issues in ways that help us act for positive change? Join Emma Woods from Flourish Economics for a 2.5 hour workshop that introduces the spiral of the Work that Reconnects, a transformative process that strengthens our capacity for Active Hope.

If you’re feeling discouraged, defeated or disillusioned about the future, you’re not alone. Many of us feel this way, so what can we do to counter this despair?

The Work that Reconnects moves us through four different processes to help us move from feeling overwhelmed by the world’s complex challenges, to enlivened and empowered to take action for positive change.

In this 2.5 hour facilitated process we will learn how practicing gratitude, honouring our pain for the world and seeing through new eyes can resource and fuel our passion for positive change. It will also offer practices and inspiring perspectives which can help us find our role in shaping an alternative, more hopeful future.

This is an introduction to the Work that Reconnects. As part of the festival, Emma will also be facilitating a 7 week Active Hope Co-learning group which will offer a more immersive experience into all areas of the Work that Reconnects.
